We recommend you purchase the Kit that we offer as well as any additional products that you wish for a starting point with Clear Cure Goo. Reason being is that the way I tie and what I like about one product you may not like. An example of this would be building a surf candy, I know some people are building them with the Clear Cure Goo Thick, others with the Thin and some even use both of them. Your kit comes with: 1 LED Light. 1 Clear Cure Goo Thick Syringe 10ml 1 Clear Cure Goo Thin Syringe 10ml It is a great way to start out in the world of Light Cured Products. To get started using the Clear Cure Goo, simply remove the black shipping caps with a counter clockwise twist, then put the orange tip that is included in the packaging on with a clockwise twist. You do the exact same thin if you have purchased the accessory tips and wish to swap them out. The safest way to store the Clear Cure Goo is to replace the Black Shipping Caps onto the syringes for long term storage. Keep all Clear Cure Goo products preferably in the dark, like a closet or a drawer and keep the tempratures above 13 degrees Celsius. Using the Clear Cure Goo Syringe is similar to using a caulk gun. To get started just apply a minimal amount of pressure. This will start the material coming out of the tip. Material will continue to come out until one of two things happens. You relieve the pressure in the syringe by pulling back slightly on the piston OR enough material has come out of the syringe to even out the pressure on both sides of the syringe. The Clear Cure Thin cures with a slight tacky feel to it. You can remove this by applying hand sanitizer ( 62% alcohol ) to it which will create a matte finish OR- you can apply a small layer of head cement or lacquer to it. I typically thin down my head cement to the tune of 2/3 head cement to 1/3 acetone. This allows the head cement to be applied in a very thin layer and aids in cutting down drying times. Curing Times for both the Thick and the Thin materials is: 7-10 seconds.

Clear Cure Goo Thick is perfect for creating baitheads on flies or whenever you need to build up material in larger amounts as it does not flow as fast as the Thin or Brushable. Which means you dont have to constantly battle a sag when you have a large amount of material out. As always you can use all the Clear Cure Goo products in symphany to create the fly or look you desire. Meaning you could build a base layer using the Clear Cure Goo Thick and then finish it off with the Clear Cure Goo Brushable or Thin. One 10ml Syringe of Clear Cure Goo Thick One Tip and Cap.
-
Clear Cure Goo Thin flows and smooths much faster than the Flexible of the Thick. This produces a smoother finish but also penetrate materials like dubbing, and feathers much better, providing a stronger bond to such materials. Perfect for wing casings, nymphs, midges and such.

This is the Clear Cure Goo Flexible. It will revolutionize the way you tie and open doors to what you thought was impossible making it possible. Tired of messing with Soft Tex or Silicone- Dont want to wait for it to dry. Clear Cure Goo Flexible is your answer. It cures in 10-12 seconds for the entire fly. Think Soft Plastics... That is the quote that I keep hearing from customers. It is soft, chewy and supple. I have making bass worm patterns with this stuff and it is awesome. Studies have shown that a fish will hold on longer to a soft fly longer than it will to a hard one- So why not make this material a great tool in your tying arsenal. The Clear Cure Goo Flexible comes in a 10ml syringe Recommended Curing Time: 15-20 seconds based on the amount of material applied.

The thought process behind creating the Clear Cure Goo Brushable was making a material you could use coating Crease Flies with and that it would smooth out rapidly once applied to such a fly. The more we used this material the more uses we found for it. Perfect examples are when you are using an EZ Body fly and want to stiffen it up, or bonding mylar to foam as well as waterproofing flies such as the Ron Dong Crease Fly. Finally how many times have you had wished you had a way to stop material from fouling without resorting to a mono loop or a wire peg. Try brusing this material lightly on DNA Fibers, Krystal Flash, Angel Hair, Sparkle Hair or any other fouling material. Bush a small amount on just past the hook bend and you will find that the Clear Cure Goo Brushable will keep the fibers out and away from the hook, but also is still very pliable and crushable. The Clear Cure Goo Brushable is one of our best selling products. Tiers have found it to be a very useful tool in their tying arsenal and we continue to hear of new uses for the particular material often. The Clear Cure Goo Brushable comes in a 15ml Bush Top Bottle. It contains 5 more ml than the standard 10ml syringe. Recommended Curing Time: 7-10 seconds

This is the Clear Cure Goo Curing Light. It is a very low powered light, and is powered by 3 AAA batteries. I tied at the Somerset, Charlotte and Pleasanton Fly Fishing Shows and never had to change the batteries out. The Clear Cure Goo Curing Light is what our materials have been created around from out very first year NEW for 2012 we have changed the curing light from a Black Color- to an electric blue that really stands out on your tying table, so you will be able to find it quickly. The design has changes slightly, it is a little thinner, as well as a bit lighter and based on feedback customers are saying it fits better in their hand. The light also is now provided with a hanging lanyard so you can hang it on anything on your tying bench. The new curing light also features a stronger on/off clicker. Most importantly- The new curing light has been engraved with the Clear Cure Goo name on the LED unit side. We have a strong reputation of not having our material yellow, crack or chip unlike other companies. The only way we can keep this reputation going is by ensuring all our customers use the proper light. You may use name brand batteries, as well as house brands such as Costco, or even rechargable batteries makes no difference. When you reviece your Flashlight make sure the batteries are placed in the battery holder correctly. As with all battery powered devices- The spring side of the batter holder should have the - Negative side of the battery touching it. The smooth side of the holder should have the + Positive side of the battery touching it. Make sure when you place the Battery Holder back in the flashlight the arrow points down. Your curing light comes apart in 3 basic sections. The on/off clicker cap, the barrel where the battery housing unit sits and the LED head unit. Please make sure all those parts are screwed together hand tight. The Clear Cure Goo light is still manufactured in the same place, using the same LED's as our previous black light. There is no need to purchase a new one. We can not stress how important using a consistent LED company is. We receive samples all the time from other manufacturers, all claiming to be in the same light spectrum as our light... They usually are not. In light curing- you must be right on the money to kick off your material- if you are off by just a few Nano Meters you will have problems with the material.

Clear Cure Goo Tack Free is just that Tack Free. There is no need to add a top coat, no covering it with sally hansens hard as nails or hard as hull. It has the same consistency as the Clear Cure Goo Thin. CCG Tack Free Products are best used in thin layers. Apply a small amount and cure. Continue to do so until you have reached the desired thickness. Immediately you will see a vast improvement over the standard CCG as far as tack is concerned. But wait it gets better. Any remaining tack will "evaporate off on its own, in 1-3 hours depending on humidity, eventually becoming smooth like glass. If you have applied too much material at once- You can simply take your fly box out in the sun and let the sun do the work of the Clear Cure Goo lamp. If you have enjoyed using the Clear Cure Goo so far, you will absolutly LOVE this new material. The Clear Cure Goo Tack Free comes in a Syringe that contains 10ml The recommended curring time for Tack Free ranges between 5 seconds-30 depending on the amount of material. 15 Ml of Clear Cure Goo Tack Free are inside this bottle. Based on customer feedback some people have said they prefer a squeeze bottle over a syringe. The squeeze bottle has a much shorter learning curve on how you apply the material compared to the syringe, where you have to draw back the syringe to relieve the pressure in the barrel. Clear Cure Goo Thin Squeeze flows and smooths much faster than the Flexible of the Thick and is one of our best selling products. This is a great choice for a tier who is meticulous in their tying. It blends the ability to apply a good amount of material on a fly and being able to have it smooth out very nicely. This produces a smoother finish but also penetrate materials like dubbing, and feathers much better, providing a stronger bond to such materials. Having the material in a squeezable bottle it gives more control to the user, compared to the syringes. It also give you 5 more ml. Simple to use just twist off the black shipping cap and add the orange tip. Turn the bottle over and apply small gradual pressure. When the Clear Cure Goo begins to come out, add it to your fly. To stop the fly simply release the pressure on the bottle and flip it back up right, and the bottle will create enough suction for it to pull all the material back into the bottle.
