With this version of SoftDip you can add weight to a variety of flies to assist their sink rate or the way the hook rides in the water. You can coat the thread wraps before adding materials, add a drop to the head of the fly, make a mono loop on the hook shank in the shape of a nymph body and coat it with SoftDip then when dry dub over the top of the shape. Add a Mono loop to the hook shank in the shape of a Zonker and coat it heavily along the bottom and make it ride hook point up. You can smear a bit onto hook shanks for very tiny weighted nymphs or add a drop in the cavity behind a bead head before tying the thorax. Add a drop to the top of a furry thorax of a finished nymph as a wing case - where does it end. After SoftDip dries it can be reconstituted to its original form by adding more SoftDip or Tiewell thinners. It will soften the dried material and allow it to be reworked or repaired. This applies to any gluggy residue that may thicken when the top is left off the bottle and some of the solvent evaporates, just add more thinners, leave it to soften overnight and give it a shake the next day to make it a uniform consistency once more.

Pass the leader or backing up the tube from the opposite direction. Apply a drop of glue to one end of the tube which will fill with glue by capillary action. Fly tying and general repairs. Bond fly tying materials in place with this penetrating glue.
